Windows 7 Build 7025 Screenshots Leaked

Submitted by Kenneth Pennington on Monday, 26 January 200910 Comments

Screenshots of the latest build of Microsoft’s Windows 7 Beta have been leaked to the internet through the website: PCBeta.com. The build version is “7025” or “7025.0.x86fre.winmain.090120-1850” officially. The 7025 build is shown in the screenshots running the Internet Explorer 8 Release Candidate 1. IE8’s RC1 was released earlier this week, facing scrutiny by the European Union about its monopoly power, but a Windows 7 version has not been released yet. The screenshots also show a version “12.0.7025.7000Windows Media Player, which is an upgrade from the “12.0.7000.7000″ version installed on the Windows 7 Beta 7000 version. In addition, the screenshots show a new “View by:” setting at the top of various windows like the Control Panel. A 7025 screenshot of Microsoft’s Paint shows the updated build number as well. Also, the icons for the Edit toolbar seem to be changed.

Here are the screenshots:

That looks like its either vista with the windows 7 icon hack or the other way around. i mean look at the start orb, its jumping out of the taskbar like in vista. and why would anyone bring back quick launch in a newer beta

Hmm… interesting point. Hopefully some more news on these screenshots will surface.

I just clicked around in my copy of Windows 7 7000 and I figured out something… the Windows “orb” pops out when you set the “Use small icons” option on in the Taskbar and Start Menu Properties. So, these may in fact be real.

Quick launch was requested by quite a few people who are using Windows 7 in the old taskbar mode who want the quick launch toolbar available.

Translation: Good! I hope that this new version will be as good as the first, because the truth is that it is good… I gave it a “10″ for this Windows 7. I hope it functions like the Beta 1.
