Windows 7’s Built in “Burn Disc Image” Feature

Submitted by Kenneth Pennington on Friday, 16 January 2009One Comment

One of the new features of Microsoft’s Windows 7 is the new, built-in support for disc image burning. In Vista and XP, users had to install third-party software such as Alcohol 120%, Roxio, etc. But, in Windows 7, all that is necessary is a right-click. The option to “Verify the image” after burning is also built-in. This feature will be extremeley useful to those downloading .iso and .imf files on a regular basis.

Just right click on any disc image file to burn it.
