Microsoft has released an article detailing thirty-six of the biggest changes in the Windows 7 Release Candidate from the Beta version.
In a post on the Windows Team Blog, Brandon LeBlanc, Windows Communications Manager, announced the extension of the Windows 7 Beta download period.
Earlier last week, Microsoft pulled their Windows 7 Beta release when their servers were overloaded with a heavy bandwidth surge. Microsoft had initially committed to just 2.5 million Beta product keys, but now in an unprecedented move, Microsoft has decided to lift the 2.5 million limit in an attempt to win over as many Beta users as possible.
After about 24 hours of postponement, Microsoft re-instituted their Beta page on the Technet website. Product keys and downloads for the new Windows OS are now live.

The Windows 7 Public Beta was temporarily postponed. Earlier today, users were receiving errors: Service Unavailable - HTTP Error 503. The service is unavailable. Unfortunately, Microsoft was not prepared for the bandwidth surge today. Microsoft has pulled the download from their Technet website. Some users are still able to get through, but many are experiencing half-way downloads.
